Conceived as a secluded sanctuary on the southern cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, Bali Art Villa 2BR reinterprets tropical modernism with an emphasis on quiet restraint and tactile richness.
Designed for travellers drawn to art and slow living, the two-bedroom residence revolves around an open-air central courtyard. Slumped glass, sand-colored travertine, and reclaimed teak timber establish a calm tonal palette that softens the intense equatorial sunlight.
Each room opens seamlessly to the garden and infinity plunge pool, ensuring cross-ventilation and a constant auditory connection to the Indian Ocean below. Bespoke joinery and artisanal lighting pieces from regional makers sit alongside curated modernist collectibles, giving the villa a soulful, lived-in resonance.
Every vantage point within the villa has been curated to balance shelter and openness, framing glimpses of coastal flora against minimal geometric wall planes.
Architecture should not compete with nature, but provide a quiet frame for light, shadow, and ocean winds.
